ATLANTA – Many of the schools and other new government buildings around Metro Atlanta have at least one thing in common. Illegal immigrants say they laid the bricks.
Some are now coming forward because they share something else. They claim they did the work and didn’t get all the money they’re owed.
The debate over illegal immigration in Georgia is highly charged. When it comes to paying someone for the work they did even some Americans are lining up behind the people who by law aren’t supposed to be here.
